At TIA Candles, we carefully handcraft each candle, paying special attention to quality, details, and packaging of every order.
Returns
In accordance with distance selling regulations in the Netherlands, customers have the right to cancel their purchase and return the product within 14 days of receiving the order without providing a reason.
To be eligible for a return, the product must:
• be unused;
• remain in its original condition;
• be returned in the original, undamaged packaging;
• show no signs of lighting, burning, or other use.
After receiving and inspecting the returned product, the refund will be processed within the period required by applicable legislation.
The cost of return shipping is covered by the customer unless otherwise required by law or agreed upon with TIA Candles.
Products that cannot be returned
Returns are not accepted for:
• candles made specifically according to an individual customer request;
• personalised candles (for example, with engraving or a custom message);
• candles that have been lit, used, or damaged after receipt.
Handmade Product Characteristics
Each TIA Candles product is handmade, therefore slight variations in wax colour, surface texture, or wooden wick placement may occur. These natural differences are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.
Damaged During Delivery
If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please inform us within 48 hours of receiving the order and send photos of the product and packaging. We will review the situation and offer an appropriate solution.
